    • Family with children

As a parent, I was at ease with my 4 children in the waterpark with the adequate number of lifeguards on duty doing constant checks at their posts in the waterpark

    • Family with children

It was very nice. I like that they had a lot of lifeguards in the pool areas.

The bathrooms in the pool areas were filthy and disgusting. I even had to tell someone about them, and all they seemed to say is. We have someone around that's going to clean them, but it didn't seem to happen quickly enough. There was litterally poop flowing out of 2 of the toilets, and they didn't seem to be worried.

    • Family with children

This was our 3rd year going to Great Escape. We knew what to expect and knew how to plan our day out as we have been here before. It is a great place for a family.

The only thing I have noticed is that the staff was a little curt on the complaints that they were receiving from some guests. We found a bug in the bed and asked that someone come and check it out and they never did. They were very non challant about things. In going here in the future, I would research discounts on the park tickets if you are attending Six Flags the hotel did not give too much of a discount only $10. The water in the park is a little cold and they could work on making that warmer as it would help with the younger children. The bathrooms are a little outdated. They changed the characters they no longer have Looney Tunes and that was a big deal before.

Water Bay Water Resort. Great fun for elementary school aged kids.

    • Family with children

friendly staff and watching our kids enjoy the indoor water park

At this time when ever there's an issue with the lazy river it takes a day to remedy the problem.

    • Older travelers

Some elements of the water park

Kids were niosy in the hall after midnight; no exhaust fan in bathroom; no full-length mirror in room; everything cost extra, other than coffee in the room; over-priced

    • Family with children

We had a great time. The kids really enjoyed the waterpark. It was great being indoors where it was warm and looking outside to see it snowing.

The snack bar in the waterpark was alittle pricey.

    • Family with children

The hotel and water park were way to cold to enjoy. My husband got a bad cold the first day we were there. There were no signs for anything that were visible regarding where to change for park and what rides were suitable for what ages. Check in times were very inconvienent.

    • Family with children

I drove two and one half hours to the lodge to find out that the water park was closed. Try to explain that to an unhappy three year old. I was totally unhappy about the inconvenience not only was I not informed the park was closed I called to confirm the reservation and the girl on thje phone told me we could arrive after 11am to use the park before our room was ready. Next time I will find another indoor attraction as these people don't seem to care about satisfying their guests.

Attitude of staff. Made no attempt to help me find a suitable place for myself and my grandson.

    • Family with children

For an indoor water park resort; it was less expensive than other resorts. The staff was friendly and accomodating.

The water park was not as big as expected. The park was also chaotic and seemes to be ran by inexperience administrative staff.

    • Family with children

We chose this hotel for the water rides. A good weekend break from the winter weather, and within 2 hours from home.

We only had 24 hours there so when we realized that the larger family sized water rides were closed on the Friday that we arrived, we were very disappointed. If we could have gotten our $ back,we would have left. They really should have let everyone know this before we arrived as it is a lage part of the waterpark. Also the lodge was having a dinner for the YMCA that took over the parking lots so we were told to park at Johnny Rockets which is a distance from the main lobby. When we went for ice we realized that our room didn't lock . Someone did come up to fix it one of us had to wait for that losing time playing.

    • Family with children

We had a wonderful time at the waterpark. Our rooms were very spacious and the staff was very nice. The safety in the waterpark was excellent, we had many young grandchildren with us and we felt at ease with the number of lifeguards on duty and their attentiveness.

The checkout was a bit antiquated. Many people including myself commented on the fact that you had to checkout at the front desk. Most hotels today just leave the bill under the door and the keys in the room, this technique would be a major improvement. The family fun ride in the waterpark was very inefficient and our wait was approx 1 hour. A suggestion would be to make sure that every tube is filled to the maximum occupancy. Johnny Rockets for dinner was terrible. We waited over an hour to have our burgers and fries served to us. We noted that was the case with everyone around us also. Someone should address this problem with the managment of Johnny Rockets. Perhaps they need more staff or a more efficient kitchen routine. When our meals came out they were barely warm.

    • Family with children

The kids enjoyed the water park the most and the arcade.

The housekeeping staff was very unprofessional especially their use of the elevators and their behavior in the halls. They lacked common courtesy, ex. Use of elevators should be extended to the guest before they use them for conducting what they did to do. They also charge a resort fee - approximately $25 per day - did not see that value in that as it is not an upscale resort.

    • Family with children

We went for the water park indoors....

That all there options were not opened for convince.. examples: shops in water park and lobby, room service shuts down early...
